Tatu Visit Japan in "Othello" Guise
The chaotic Russian duo Tatu arrived at Narita Airport in the morning of the 9th, for their fourth visit to Japan, and their first in one year and ten months. The aim of their trip is to publicise their new album Dangerous and Moving (released on the 5th), which contains a song of repentance for Japan, Gomennasai [sic.] Ivan, who was behind all the incidents that caused uproar, such as the group's walking out of a music show, was not with them and it looks as though the girls have turned over a new leaf, even signing autographs for fans at the airport. Yulia (20), who gave birth to a baby girl in September last year, has transformed herself with a heavily tanned look that would surprise even the adherents of the Kogyaru look [a style popular with high school girls and young women 5-6 years ago, centering on a deep tan, short skirts, v.high platform boots, blonde hair and bright white eye make-up. Think of a negative of a photo of a panda.] Lena, with her pale skin, was in total contrast, giving the duo an "Othello" look [presumably refers to the board game]. They were in good spirits, saying, "We're going to pig out on the sushi that we love!"
Apparently, there are no plans to shoot a video in Japan, as had been reported in some papers previously.
